White Cochins

Hello, does anyone know the gender of my 3 white cochins? Thank You!

How old are they?

Whites can be tough since the feathers are hard to see, but I'd guess you have a pullet in front and two cockerels in back. However, if they are near mature, it could just be two faster maturing pullets and one a bit slower than the rest.

They're 4 months old. The lady I got them from said the one in the back with the biggest comb is a cockerel. I hope that's the only one.

At 16 weeks, the breeder is correct, back right is definitely a boy. Back left is iffy... could be an early maturing girl or slow maturing boy. It's so hard to see the feathers on whites.

Okay thanks so much. I'll look at the feathers closer tomorrow and see what I see

I agree with some above. Breeder is correct. Back right cockerel, front and back left pullets. Back left wil lay sooner.
