Hello! I have three of these bantams, one for sure a girl, one for sure a boy and this one's undecided. It is much smaller than both the others, a little darker comb and a little smaller pom than the girl, but quite a bit less red than the definite boy. Any help appreciated, thanks!

kind of hard to tell at five weeks, though for now i'd say pullet

Direction and shape of plumage says pullet. Cockerels go through a wild child phase and end up looking like David Bowie. Their crests have thin pointed feathers where hens have round crest feathers that swoop back into the Pom Pom shape.

Interesting... I will keep an eye on her/him and let you know! Any advice on which to keep if they are both cockerels, my biggest chicken or my littlest? Or just go by personality? I've never had a roo before.

Two votes for cockerel.
It's going to be hard to tell which are nice until they pass a certain age.
I would keep the ones that act nice, but be aware you might want to get rid of them later if they don't calm down.

This is my definite boy with the other one in the back. Quite a size difference. Any votes for not keeping any roosters? I never have because it seems like an unwanted complication, but with how things are right now I seem to be up for a little "fun" complication in my life!

i think having a rooster implemented into your flock is amazing, they take great care of your ladies and you can always hatch out more chicks if you’d like. they have great benefits imo that is if they’re not aggressive. if you have to end up picking one or the other i suggest picking personality and friendliness over anything
