White crested black polish genectics

That thread is talking about Black Crested White.
This thread asked about White Crested Black. Do they come up in that thread too?

I keep having to double-check which variety is being discussed, because they both have the same colors but the colors swap places on the bird. Even the abbreviations have the same letters in a different order (WCB and BCW).

Both names are perfectly sensible descriptions of the colors involved, but I sure wish I didn't mix them up!

Lol, me too. The color names are very confusing!

Anyway for more help with this there are some nice articles at https://www.chickencolours.com/ - the articles are free. There's a good one on crested and polish and I believe it discusses the white crested genes.

I would like to do both but space and time are the issue. will have to choose one type when I'm ready to start.
