K i moved him to the other incubator since im sure he has internally pipped. Ive heard him peep twice and he is tapping away

i have the humidity between 55-60. I hope thats ok!?!?

Raise just a little more 60-65

Update: so at around 2 a.m. i did a safety hole cuz i was really worried id fall asleep and he would run out of air. I did it super super tiny. Still no change though. I can see the membrane pushing against the safety hole up and down and i hear a little peep occasionally. So i guess he is fine and its just a waiting game now, right? Although, i did think there would be at least a little change by this morning

. But, he is moving and i know he is getting air now. Im more concerned about my humidity and what it should be at this point.

Ducks take longer then chickens, he didn't quite need that safe hole yet, he's got about 20 percent air in that shell after he has internally pipped, that's enough air to last him 24 to 48 hours. Even though he's early you still have to give him his due date. So if he wasn't making any progress and his due date has come and gone, THEN I would say yes make that safe hole.

So from this point on, just leave him, let him do his thing. he'll be out before you know it. Just HANG tight..

No it's not going to hurt him IF it's super small otherwise it COULD dry him up. But as long as you raise that humidity I think he'll be ok.

Oh ok, thank goodness! The hole is maybe the size of a B.B. (like for a b.b gun). So really small. Still no changes though. I'm really hoping to see some progress in the morning, if not, il still be waiting lol! Either way, I'll be giving an update in the morning, thanks!

You do have two separate bators right? don't raise the Humidity for the others..

Yes i have him in a seperate incubator by himself.
Still nothing happening

i can still see movement and ocassionally a peep, but other than that, no change...

Still no change. So we are on day 3 since the internal pip. However he has had the safety hole for 36+ hours. So he is getting oxygen. His hatch date should be friday. I know it takes forever to hatch, but shouldnt i at least have an external pip by now? I feel like he should have gotten somewhere by now with all that tapping in the same spot, no?
