White Crested Polish Questions

Yep hen I raised polish for 5 years.Hen's head's are rounded and the males have droopy long top knot's.Trying to upload one of my roo pic's.

We recently just discovered these guys and would like to get a couple, however we have to wait a bit, our breeder is still working on them.
I was wondering if anyone knows how hardy they are and what kind of layers they are?
We live in Canada so it's gets cold here in the winter, if they don't do well we really don't want to go down that road, I've already got one that froze her feet off last winter(she's doing fine but I don't want to go through that again).
