I picked this girl up today and she seems to have a bit of a skin condition that I am just not sure about.
I don't know if it is something as minor as dander or dandruff or an actual fungal thing.
She is alert, eating and active. Her vent is clean. Their are no lesions or sores on the white crust.
The white crust is only on her face.
She does appear to have a minor case of lice.
Any ideas?
Thank you!

It could be favus a fungus on the skin. I would try some miconazole cream (monistat 7) or lotrimin on the skin--be careful around eyes. Just make sure it isn't lice eggs which are also white. Coconut oil can remove lice eggs. Lice will be killed with permethrin spray or powder, or sevin dust applied to the skin every 10 days until eggs and lice are gone.
