I have a flock of seven, and one of my buffs is losing feathers at and has white mucus-like discharge from vent, possibly with a bit of blood or feces. She's 6 months old. I'm very brand new at raising hens, don't know a thing about what to be worried about. Her behavior is pretty normal, maybe only slightly slower moving than before. First noticed the condition yesterday evening, and this morning the discharge is whiter and cleaner looking than last night, but still present and seems to be flowing continually. Any help or suggestions of where to look would be so much appreciated!
