I have an EE that is all yellow, will she be white?
She had a bent under toe (completly folded) and I put a splint on it for 24 hours, now it is straight, but not perfect, will it be ok? You can't see her muff because she has no contrast in the photo.
I also have a Black Jersey Giant that is the smallest chick in the batch. Smaller than the EE and the Polish! Will this runt grow or will I have a minature Giant?

Very cute! I love the yellow EE. I'm sure your Giant will grow, probably faster than the others. I have noticed that a couple of my EE chicks were larger than the other breeds early on, but they end up being regular sized when grown.

My white/yellow EE looked indentical to yours when she was a few days old.

Here's Hawk at 1 week.

And here she is at 7 weeks, still not quite a chicken yet.

they most certainly can be white and yours looks paler than duck boys. my white EE is my best layer and the biggest egg too, and blue.

Hey Duck Boy I noticed that Hawks legs really turned from yellow/green to very green as she got older. She will be a great looking hen soon!

I noticed that too. When she was a few days old there was a noticeable difference in leg color between the legs of my RIRs, which had bright yellow legs, hers were ALMOST yellow. They got darker with age, no doubt about that.

One more question. I got a chick from a blue cochin that I understand segregate for color. Will this be a black one?

Also, any comments about the EE crooked toe?
Thanks!
