White EE = roo?

Oh please ease my mind that my very pale yellow/white EE is a hen and not a roo. I did a quick Google search and that color seems to be more common among the males. Eeek, I had one chick die already and I don't want to give away another...and this is the one my 4 yo daughter picked as hers!

I have a white EE pullet. She is beautiful!

There was a discussion thread on this forum a few weeks ago about white EEs with great photos. You might search for that, but don't worry, she could certainly be a pullet!

I have one EE right now who's most definitely a hen who lays me nice olive colored eggs so it could definitely be a hen!

The white/black pattern is more common for males, but there are some females with similar coloring. Do you have a picture?

White female EEs are plenty common. I have two, both hatchery stock, "accidentally" aquired.

Having them outside and studying, the white is a female.

She's hidden amongst the group.

The white one looks like a girl, but that one front and center is all BOY!
