Yeah I would go with the leghorn. If they are not the production type the can have really sweet personalitys. I dont know where your ordering from but Sandhill has some red ones that are supposed to be real layed back. I also like the Exchequer color, that is awesome. My banty leghorns are real calm because they originated from a show line, not at all flighty. They also have a good feed to egg ratio. they dont eat so much.
