White egg with brown layers

Hello this is my first post for BYC. I joined because i had a question. So i have 10 chickens I'm not positive of the breed because when i bought them at TSC I wasn't really paying attention. I think I know there breeds from looking at the different colors of them and matching them up with the stats of a actual breeds. From what I know I think I have

3 either barred or Plymouth rock
2 Gold Sex links
3 welsummers
1 black sex link
and 1 either RIR, Production red or Red sex link

These are all 20-21 weeks old and only 2 of them them have been laying and they've been giving me brown eggs but this morning I got a very small white egg and didn't get an egg from the other two?????? i thought they should all be laying by now and they were all brown egg layers.

Welcome.to BYC!! Great network for chicken people. If you can post pictures we could most likely help you. The only one I think to lay a.all white egg would be sumatra. If the chicken itself is small.

No, 20/21 weeks is still a little early, but they all should be laying soon. Don't let the first little eggs bother you. They all should be laying brown eggs when they get going good.

Photos off your birds will help us verify ids. It may also help to place the small egg on a sheet of paper, etc to verify it is not a very light cream which often looks white

Yes, they all should be brown egg layers. Maybe (if you can) send a few photos of your chickens. My guess would be one of the sex links.

Also I said that the other two didn't lay but one of them layed and when I get home I'll see if the other one layed and if it does I'll get my first three eggs in one day!

Another option is that the Barred Rock is a California Gray. I bought one of those from a Rural King. They look a little like a Barred Rock, but lay white eggs.

Your Welsummer could be a Brown Leghorn, they are very similar in color. What color are its earlobes?
