I have 15 RI Reds. They lay brown eggs except for one that just started to lay this white egg. I will post pics when I get a chance.RIRs are supposed to lay brown eggs, so you don't have one. Can you post some pics?

I have two RIRs that lay really light brown eggs, which look pink, or almost white. Are you sure that it's all the way white? Pictures would be helpful too. Also, check the chicken's earlobes. Are they white or red? If they're red, your chicken is supposed to lay brown eggs, and she's either really out of it or the eggs are really light brown. If they're white, you don't have an RIR.
Brown eggs are white eggsd with a coating of brown spray paint added at the end. It is possible this bird is experiencinga glitch in the paint booth. It can also help to set the egg on a sheet of paper as often what looks white turns out to be VERY light creamy brown
