Is it just me, or are the white and fawn Indian Runners noticeably more ridiculous than the other color varieties? I've only got 12 runners, so my sample size isn't great, but every time one of them is talking way too loud about nothing, or talking with their bill buried in a mud puddle, or running in circles at dinner time, it's one of the three white & fawn. Even the other ducks seem slightly annoyed with them!

I sure can't help ya with the situation, but am going to add 6 runners to the menagerie here this next Spring and am thinking of getting fawn&whites, so I will be interested in what turns up.....not that it really matters to me, they will fit in with the Khaki Campbells and Rouens that we have now. I enjoy the entertainment and we live on 20acres so there is plenty of room....also going to add some guineas and more chickens and goats....it's a menagerie here I tell ya...:)
There is 1 here that I know has runners and she may be able to help with this....I'll tag her to see... @Amiga

I have no fawn and whites, but I do have a few more kooky Runners. Fünf will come up to me, extending and retracting her neck, while watching me. Reminds me of the King Tut dance. Sometimes she'll splash around in the water, them zoom around the swim pan.

Zehn is most likely to make announcements, Einz chants in a falsetto voice most of the time . . . each has her own ways.
