If it's 6 weeks instead of 8, I'd say yeah - do that. I'd be on the fence then. Since OP doesn't know, and 2 weeks is a big gap at this age, that may be a good idea.

Yeah those are really obvious! Makes me think the one that is the subject of this thread has to be a pullet.

I think pullet, if it’s truly eight weeks. If it’s six weeks I might think possible slow cockerel.
