**White Leghorn Contest** ENDED!! Results Soon

This is my sweet 16wk old girl, Pearl. She started laying this week, and has given us 6 lovely eggs in 6 days. She's a champ already! We were sitting in the coop this afternoon, and she climbed on our laps, crawled under our legs, pecked at my daughter's glasses, and generally made a nuisance of herself. So far, all 4 of the white leghorn girls I've had have been very friendly. I've never had a spazz, and love these birds!

Well, well, After much thought I have come to the conclusion of extending the contest by 2 weeks. The final end date will be Aug. 18th. We will have 1st and 2nd place prizes that are donated by Envirogirl11 & sarahs31. The 1st place winner will get to choose which prize they would rather have. I will also do a runner up (no prize).

I hope you all have fun with the contest. I also hope you understand why I limited the pictures to 2.

Get those pics in here and lets get going now that you have extra time. If anyone would like to change a pic that is fine but please edited the original post with the new picture.

It's so funny to me when I see a pic with a cat next to a chicken. I mean, come on, aren't cats suppose to chase birds.

I can't wait until I get a pic of my cat (a whopping 15 pounder) next to one of my chickens.

My DOG doesn't even do anything to them

He went in the chicken pen with us the other day and didn't once try to hurt them or anything. And they've gotten out on several occasions too, our dog is actually the chicken GAURD lolz

Heres a couple pictures of one of my White Leghorns. She is 5 months old and started laying a couple weeks ago she also loves to be held.
