What can i mark the eggs with?? is a sharpe safe?? i dont want it bleeding through and contaminating the soon to be chick,

Good luck to her!

I had one go broody. She was as dedicated as the next hen when it came to broody but not the best of moms, and she layed quicker than any hen I ever had to lay after being broody.

She is still on,,i candeled them and saw a pea sized dark spot with blood viens shooting in all directions, This is a sign of growth right?? a good sign?
