I had self determined my rooster to be a white leghorn based on pictures but always second guess that because his comb isn’t as pointy as the ones in pictures. I recently saw a picture of cornish cross rooster and thought maybe he’s that instead? I don’t know his age. When I got him this spring he was full grown I thought. I bought him off a lady that didn’t speak English that had a random van full of roosters parked outside the laundromat. (Yes I now know that wasn’t the best idea)
I’m going to include a picture of him I took over the summer because he’s lost some feathers lately, I think from molting.

Definitely not a Cornish cross. Cornish are extremely heavy birds, and they can barely walk. Their legs are thick, and they have a wide stance. It looks like a Leghorn to me, his comb may have been dubbed "cut", or maybe he got frostbite.

Common sense to never ever buy anything from someone selling out of a van in front of a random establishment. Even more so if they don't speak the national language.

I know you know that now, but alarm bells much??
