I have a white leghorn pullet born approx. 5/29-5/31. I purchased her on 6/6 from Tractor Supply. She weighed 2 oz when we got her. A week later she was up to 4 oz., and today she weighed in at 11 oz.
She isn't bullying the 3 other chicks for food. Their brooder is right off between the kitchen and living room so we have eyes in them most of the day. The other 3 chicks have only gone up a couple of ounces each week.
I have 2 questions
1. Is it normal for her to gain weight so fast and if not, what do I do?
2. She has barely any feathers like the other 3 do, is that normal, or should I be concerned?
Thanks for any help.

My niece picked her out a bin that all looked alike. The employee even commented on what a cute little leghorn she was. The sign said white leghorn, but yeah, they could have gotten mixed up. This is our Potato today...at 11 oz. Lol.

Doesn’t look like a Leghorn. I think Cornish X is a big possibility. Either way, I’d be on the safe side and limit her food intake and make sure she’s moving about.

Yep...we've confirmed it's a cornish x. I spoke with the tractor supply to let them know about the mislabel on the bin. We're just gonna let Potatoe live out their best life with us and picked up another chick that we double checked was the correct one.
Thanks everyone for your help.
