White Leghorn stopped laying

We’ve been excessively generous with mealworms because the children visiting the farm this summer looooooooovento call “Oh, Chickens!” and watch the birds come running from every corner. So treat time has been ... frequent
This has been fine with me so that the new bantams will become more friendly and approachable.
I hope the generous mealworm snacks will see everyone through molting time comfortably.

Maybe more protein(especially animals protein) and less calcium.
I feed an all flock with oyster shells on the side so don't have to adjust anything during molt.
Oh, is there any point in keeping everyone confined to the coop, since the likeliest culprit is molting? I had been thinking they needed to be re-trained to lay in the nesting boxes, so have had them in the coops/runs full-time for almost a week. But they hate it! They keep grumbling at me that they are supposed to be wild forest chickens!!!
