white leghorns how long will they lay for

I get 5-6 eggs (huge ones) from my two 5 year olds. Got one a day from them at two years. They usually pick up in spring and summer.

WOW... I'm thinking about leg horns and I'm wondering if there's a difference between the white and the brown ones.
