Gertie's comb was still yellow at 10.5 weeks. And the bird in question has a different comb type than Gertie.

Do you know the person who sold you those 3 chickens? I thought I got taken when I bought my first 3 hens. (They were supposed to be young and already laying) One, a speckled sussex never laid an egg her entire life with us. We had her over 3 years before she passed of old age. RIP Ursula, she sure was a sweetie, I miss her and my roo that the city made me give up after having him for 4 years. Point being I really didn't do my homework and just took someone's word, which left me with 3 old hens, 2 did lay on a regular basis, just not a lot. LOL We loved them just the same.

I can see the saddle on the second one -- 100% male. If the first one is the same age as the white one, also male. Did you get these as baby chicks or just recently? Because that second one has looked male for weeks now.

Thanks. They were all chicks when we got them about 3 weeks ago. They’ve grown quite a bit, and still make peeping noises. No eggs yet. Lol

We do. She hatched them for us during the summer and kept them until they were about 7 weeks old.
We got a layer from them, and have had her for two weeks. No eggs there. Supposedly she is about 1-2 years old.

We laugh about it now. We did end up with 3 lovely girls, even if we didn't end up with a bunch of eggs. We enjoyed them immensely. Wouldn't have changed a thing, about 4 months later someone was giving away 9 pullets, cause they had too many chickens. We hatched a few ourselves with a broody, and had 16 chickens at one point. Our priest at church got fresh eggs every week and our neighbor with 2 teenage boys got fresh eggs every week. All things happen for the best! LOL
