That could be it? I have only had these birds a week. Some days I get no eggs and some days 1 tiny egg. But, they were moved just a week ago so stress from that is likely. Have not weighed any eggs yet and they are not mixed. Jumbos are still separate.Are the eggs consistently small? A disruption or stress can make the bird misfire and lay odd eggs, but if they are the same size each time that's probably just the normal for that bird.
Have you weighed the eggs? Regular coturnix that haven't been mixed with any jumbo strains have small eggs, usually less than 10 grams. Jumbos typically lay larger eggs, around 13+ grams, sometimes up to 18 grams or higher.
