Can someone tell me the difference between shite rock and leghorn. I ordered 6 white rock and I also ordered a mix. I got quite a few white ones in the mix. I've been looking for differences but I really don't know what to look for

It may be easy to distinguish them at this early stage.

The Plymouth Rock, in all varieties, including the White, are dual purpose birds and so will be much stouter birds as the grow up. As newly hatched, the Rocks will sometimes have a pearl, dusty color on the yellow feathering. The Leghorn is a smaller, lighter bird and will hatch out pure yellow.

As they grow, the Leghorns will be thinner in the body and stand a bit more upright. The tails on the Leghorns will point upward where the Plymouth Rock's tail should properly not have nearly the elevation in degree off horizontal.

Both have yellow legs. The difference will largly be in sheer size and thickness of the Rocks versus the thinner Leghorns with more upright tail position. Of course, as adults, the Leghorns lay white eggs while the Rocks will lay brown eggs.

thankyou :) I have noticed some of my hens like the silver laced walk around with their tail a lot more up then my buff rocks. I've been looking at their combs but haven't noticed any difference on my white ones anyway.

As adults, Leghorns will also have white lobes under the ears, while Rocks have red ones.
