TAMI! What's going on?? do you have any new fuzz-butts?

Mine FINALLY began to hatch at 22 1/2 days. Of the 7 that made it to lockdown, 5 have hatched and 1 is zipping. The funny thing is, the ONLY one that hasnt done a thing is the one that was rolling around 2 days ago. I had put 2 that looked questinable on the floor of the bator, the rest in egg cartons. I prefer hatching in cartons, but those 2 had water in the air cells, so I thought they'd have a better chance on the floor.

I think I have 3 blacks, 1 blue and 1 splash or VERY light blue. Can't wait for the last to zip!

Sorry I haven't updated much...had an emergency family situation going on.

If nothing happens by the end of the day i'm gonna have to give up on then cause I have another 7 going into lockdown tomorrow!! I am so sad. This was my first time trying to incubate and was hoping for something to happen......
 
Awe...I'm sorry to hear it, Tami! Maybe they're just late arrivers, like mine were?

Don't give up - I learn something new EACH time I hatch, so if you look at it as a learning experience, it will help you move forward.

Final hatch report: I received 9 eggs, 2 were clear, and 7 made it to lockdown. 6 of the 7 hatched on day 22; and, shockingly, the 7th hatched on day 24! I had already turned off the bator, but had not opened up that last egg yet...went back in several hours later, and it was pipped! turned the bator back on, and a few hours later, chick #7 hatched. Amazing!
 
Way to go Wynette!!! WHOOT!!! My second batch of 7 are in lockdown now and it's day 19 for them...let's see how this batch goes for me!!!
