I'm bad about getting messages directly from the forum. I respond much faster with email. Shipping 10 chicks to your zip code would cost $55 ($40 for shipping plus $15 for box, shavings, apple slices, etc.) I just put eggs in the incubator so I won't have chicks available until October 29th. I currently have 4 little chicks left but I know you said you wanted 10.

Lesalyn, Tess shipped 8 chicks to me in La last week. They arrived the next day, earlier than the expected delivery. My mailman said that this was a good time of year for receiving chicks, in the summer he sees shipments with chicks that haven't survived. These are my first chicks and I'm infatuated with them!

Thanks for the heads up, Jones. I wish I could get some, but I've spent major bucks lately on eggs, lol. I just got 37 more yesterday, all Silkies. I think that gives me about 50 in the incubator now. With over a dozen still coming. Lots of colors. Hoping for a good hatch. I have 5 chicks at the moment. Will put pics in my profile this weekend I hope.
