White SILKIE ROO with Black SILKIE hen...what will I get?

I am not sure what colors would come from a white/black silkier breeding. I do however have a pullet from a white/buff breeding. Came out a beautiful color I am planning on have a mixed color pen next summer there are all kinds of possiblities when mixing colors.

There is no answer to blackXwhite. White hides whatever colour are pattern genes are present. No two whites are likely to have the same mix of these. It's kind of like trying to predict blackX?

If the black carries a single copy of recesssive white, you could get white chicks.

These are a couple of my hens and the rooster, the gray chicks may have all come from the hen with the gray on her neck. her parents were also white on black.

There is disagreement on that. The term was originally used for splash displaying red; then people started using it for greys with red. The photo above is a new one on me.

I plan on keeping this going as well...I have 20 eggs in the bator from this same breeding and 15 chicks about 4 days old from this breeding to see what I am gonna get. I am doing everything really slow and this little girl I posted above is going to be part of my program when she becomes of breeding age. So far when chicks hatch they are white soild white no other colors. As they begin to feathering in in the wings they feather in light buff. I am not good with genetics at all but I'll tell you how I got this color.

I have a white hen I know her generation past about 5 back but after that I don;t know but from what I know has been all solid whites. I bought her when she was a year old and placed her in a cage with a buff roo now the buff roo is 9 months old now I know his generation about 3 back and all clean buffs. I tested some eggs 1st hatch from them all chicks white or buff no mixed coloring. So I reintroduced a roo buff but about 2 generations back he came from a mixed breeding of 2 colors of white and buff. I started hatching out chicks like the one I posted above. This one I had sold at about 1 week old and was one of my culls. After seeing her again as she matured I had to have her back for my program cause she feathered in just what I was aiming for. Now if my rambling makes any sence..LOL or if someone good with genetics wants to go through what I said and say it in a genetic way go for it because like I said I am not good on that side but am learning things everyday from people here.

Also I wanted to add I am using a mixed color roo like this a clean buff roo and a white roo in my program for breeding of offspring of this color.
