White Silkie

Pullet! :wee

I have a gal who also has the hardest time seeing like yours and takes a minute to gather her surroundings in. It's a serious handicap... despite being very cute. I have trimmed that crest and seem to make it worse. We slick down her cheeks sometimes. :love

Hope you update final results!

You should hear my boy that started crowing between 4-5 weeks. Hilarious! :sick :lau

Omg 4-5 Weeks! Must have sounded so cute! lol I really hope Willow is a pullet! I’ve had a bunch of people comment that they see streamers on her. She looks girly to me and just carries herself differently than my inquisitive roo. He (Juicebox) is always more upright.

What do you use to slick down the cheeks to help with vision?

My girls have streamers in their crests sometimes. What they don't have is long ones coming out the back of their neck. They are just feathers that are still coming in. I decided not to comment on it earlier... but since you did! :)

It been raining so much we have just been using water to slick down the cheeks. We have been contemplating using hair gel or something. I have seen some put the crest in a little pony tail. One even said all she needs is chicken leg warmers and looked like Olivia Newton John!
