white silkies

someone gave me two white baby silkies. they are so cute. when they grow up do they lay well? how big do they get?

I believe in the US they are always a bantam breed. They lay OK when they are laying as far as I know, but they often go broody, and a broody doesn't lay eggs as a rule.

the two mamas are brooding again right now. the baby's are so cute all fluffy. they are pure white. thanks for answering my questions.
