White stain on pressure treated wood?

One board really didn't take anything! This is one coat. The board behind this one in the background has two coats and looks almost painted!

I have had good luck with porch and floor paint from Home Depot.
My coop floors are plywood with that paint. 3+ years of chicken feet, chicken poop, scraping and cleaning and going strong.

If I were to try to paint wet wood that is what I would try.

Don't paint pressure treated wood (at least not until it has set for several months), or it will rot. Stain will allow the wood to breathe, and is just fine to use.

The real test of whether the rafters are "white enough" is when I put the human door into the run in. That will be regular wood painted bright white. If it is too different, then the rafters will look dull next to the brighter paint.

I don't care much about colors, I hate to paint and the cost of it.
Guess you'll have to paint the door too until it looks like you want it to ;)
