Hi, all! Having trouble with a 1 1/2 year old columbian wyandotte, Grace. She's a very special bird who has been through a lot in her short life. Her newest malady showed up a couple weeks ago, when I noticed one eye was runny and irritated and looked like it had a white dot inside the eye, easily noticeable against the black pupil. I started a saline flush 2x daily and terramycin ointment once a day, assuming it was an infection. Since then, the eye looks less runny and irritated but the weird patch is growing and now looks like distinct worm-like streaks. Her activity level is perfectly normal and she is eating well, no notable changes in behavior or appetite. The eye is not very reactive to light and the pupil does not dilate or contract much at all. It's not on the surface of her eye and I'm not sure it's even an infection at this point- regardless the terramycin doesn't seem to be clearing it up so I'm not sure its even worth continuing. Google has not been helpful. Pictures are not easy to get but I have a few that might help ID the problem. In person the streaks are well defined, but it's hard to make that show up in the pics. Any suggestions, thoughts or ideas?
