White talons

One of my red sex links has white feet. Does anyone know why?

Sometimes birds just have non pigmented nails (only birds of prey have talons.) The birds pictured are red sex links - great producers of brown eggs.

Nice looking girls you have, are they laying yet? Red sex links are wonderful egg layers. We have 3 in our mixed flock and get big brown eggs from them almost every day.

Yes they've been laying for over a month. My kids and I really enjoy how each one has a different brown egg,so we know who is who's. Each one has consistently given us one egg a day! We don't have a rooster but the girl with white legs is the BOSS. thank you and I have tons of questions to come!
