We have had a long series of wet and rainy weather here in the past week or so. I started by finding this type of long, spaghetti-like whitish/cream colored worm in the poultry pen and removed it because I was unsure what it was and did not want them to eat it. Fast forward a few days to more heavy rains, and no more in the pen but now we are finding them in the yard and carport along the runoff trails for the rainwater. At first I thought roundworms potentially, but then questioned if they were horsehair worms? Any ideas on what these may be or what impact they would have to our animals? Thanks kindly.

Horsehair worms. Parasitic in insects & they come out when in water usually. I don't believe they have any effect on us or other animals.
