Somewhere down in Texas
I have 3 Whiting True Blues from McMurray Hatchery and I can’t quite figure out their colors. If anyone has any idea any idea of what color they might be please say. If it’s to hard to tell this young then it’s okay.
Thank you for any help

#1- White or Lavender? (has a purple/grey tint to her)

Oh, I’m guessing these are WTB vs McMurrays ‘ameraucanas’ (EEs) based on leg color and presence of muffs. If this is not an accurate way to tell the difference please let me know. They came in the same shipment so I don’t really know for sure. :)

Color: random assortment of colors that do not fit any standard for any breed.

Whiting True Blue vs. Ameraucana (Easter Egger): you might need to wait until they grow up to sort that out.

I do not think muffs are a good way to sort them. I've seen Whiting True Blues from McMurray: some had muffs and some did not. And I've seen Easter Eggers from several sources. Again, some had muffs and some did not.

My WTB that looked like your number 2 is pictured below. She has a lot of iridescent blue and green and is really pretty. Mine that was yellow like your chick number 3 turned out snowy white all over. I'd guess number one will turn out blue/gray.View attachment 2720446
She’s very pretty! Do you have pictures of the white one? Love your hen!
