From what I know (which is very little) all olive egg layers have the chance to lay brown eggs. I bought a sapphire olive egger and she lays light brown eggs. Kind of frustrating since we’ve tried for two years to get different colored eggs but it just happens sometimes.

Most Olive Eggers are F1 cross of Ameraucana and Marans, this F1s are 100% guarantee to lay Olive Eggs.

Like I said- very little knowledge of the genetics behind olive egging. I just know my olive egger don’t lay no olive eggs XD.
