We’ve been getting a brown egg every late morning for a week now! Today we also got a white egg early afternoon!
I still haven’t figured out who is laying the eggs. I have a Brahma, Ameraucana, cuckoo Maran & RI Red‍♀️ They are between 5&6 months old.

the brown eggs look to be the maran, the rir and brahma will lay lighter brown eggs. that would leave the white as amerecauna. but true amerecauna would be blue egg so must be an EE??

I would dye it so it doesn’t feel left out
Speaking of dyeing, if you want to know who is laying what, just get a multicolor pack of food coloring and give each hen a squirt up the Old Wazoo. Give each hen a different color. You'll see who is laying what by the next day.

do you think she’s an EE? We got her when she was just days old at the local feed shop. The label said Ameraucana‍♀️

Definitely an Easter Egger. True Ameracaunas to my understanding come in solid colors or colors that breed true... (?) And your gorgeous girl is a wonderful EE :) I love EEs. She could potentially be your white egg layer. EEs are ameracauna mutts. They can be crossed with anything and while they commonly lay blue eggs still, you can still end up with a bird that gives you brown, white, or green egg. Hence the term Easter egger

It could have come from any of them. It just missed the stage where it got its brown coating in its developing. Pics of the hens may help determine as well.
