Who’s your lap chicken?

Hi eveyone! I wanted to make this thread to see who everybody’s lap chicken is(if you have one). My lap chicken is my Dominique she would climb my arm when she was a couple days old and now she climbs my legs at 5 weeks old and likes to take naps on my knee. I don’t have any pics of her right now but I might get some in the future. I would love to hear about your lap chicken and pictures if you have any!

I have an Amberlink and a California White they like to spend time perched on my leg or arm. The others, they’d rather be left alone lol

I'm not big on lap chickens, I prefer that they like being petted and hanging around my feet. Lizy doesn't care though.

Mine are only about four weeks old, but so far, all of them! The two that really want attention are my Buff Orpington and my Dominique (and my Black Copper Marans to a slightly lesser extent). The Silver Laced Wyandotte and Salmon Faverolle like to sit on me but do NOT want to be petted. The Green Queen kind of goes back and forth. They all love using my leg as a perch.

Lap chickens? Pretty much all of my EE's. They all love to snuggle, and would stay on my leg for hours if I let them! Also, whenever I bend over, they take it as an invitation to roost on my back.

They're the best! They wont hop on my lap, but they will follow me around. If I put them on my lap, sometimes they will hang out.

I have a BO and an EE, both of which love to sit on my lap, get petted, and snooze. This is when they were younger; now, they usually take turns cuddling.

I also have an EE chick who thinks I'm her mom, so she spends most of her time on me, too.
