Who all here gives away their eggs?

I only have 3 hens but they each lay an egg a day consistently. Friends and family get half a dozen every now and then. I don't charge for them, it's much nicer to give them away.

We live in Tennessee and continue to grow our flock as a hobby. We are up to 15 breeds and 58 chickens. We are donating all of our eggs to our local food pantry. They have been very greatful and it is a tax deduction!

We give out eggs away to the vets office lol

They have been so wonderful taking care of all our babies...bird AND cat alike...that we tell them it is the birdies way of saying Thanks!

So every few weeks we drop off a few dozen eggs...the girls there go nuts over them

It's a nice way to show them that we appreciate them and the care they give our little "children"!

I give them away to my family, neighbors, and an elderly widow that lives across the road from my mom. This thread has me thinking, though. I never thought about donating them to charities. I wonder if our local Domestic Violence Project could use some.
