    The black one does look like a Black Copper to me. Just because she has no other colors yet, doesnt mean she is a Black. She may get some color, or she may not!

    There again, I know nothing about the Black Marans, othere than they exist and are not a Black Copper...

    I had a BCM that looks like your first girl... almost no color at ALL to her hackles. [​IMG]

    Not sure about the second one... a mix? RIR, welsummer, BO?

    1st looks to be a IDK pullet changed my answer after noticing leg feathers maybe BC Marans I don't know too much about marans other than Cuckoo types.

    2nd Red sex-link (Cherry Egger) or poss. a New Hampshire pullet

    I dont think she is a lorp she has feathered legs. I dont think I have incubated NHRs but maybe.

    1) The only black birds I can think of with feathered feet/shanks are Langshan, and Marans.
    2) Looks like a New Hampshire

    the black one is not a marans because of the eyes and beek colors are not the right is my un edgucated guess lol , heck i know nada ,,,, im a carpenter giveing chicken advice .... but they are nice looking birds
