Who are you and what did you do with my husband?

My husband brought home 4 chicks on Monday. He ALWAYS rolls his eyes when I do this. I still don't know what got into him to make him bring them home. A co-worker gave them to him. They are supposedly all pullets. Any idea on breed? I know it isn't the best picture in the world. They have yellow legs and are definitely not cornish cross.

So he's darned if he does, darned if he doesn't? Just accept it graciously that he's finally gotten involved in your hobby, and enjoy your new found common interest.

Impossible to say for sure on breed, but speculating that they obtained sexed pullets for a reason, I'd think that layers is probable. Leghorns or a similar hybrid are the most common white layers.

Oh he isn't darned at all. He just confused me. LOL!

He had a choice of pullets or cockerels when he bought them. I guess he didn't want a bunch of roos in case he kept them. He bought them for a visiting nephew and when the nephew left they decided that they didn't want to deal with new chicks this year. They could be leghorns, yes.
