Who do I keep?! Project chickens- pics!

My personal favorites are:
Roos:
Cuckoo and easter roo
(although i also really like the peach roo)
Hens:
Digit, snowflake, Calli, Blackbeak, and puffy

Still haven't gotten around to taking mug shots and weighing everybody. I was going to do it today, but it has been RAINING all day, and plans to rain tomorrow too! My garden is happy, but I will have to wait on new pics. So despite having no new ones, I still have tons I haven's shared yet, so I figured why not post MORE PICS! Here's some I took at the same time as the last few batches:

Here's me and "Blackbeak Larry" (Don't let her piratey name fool you, this little pullet is the diva of the flock!)

A closeup of Digit (another pullet whose name will change when the 7 year old who claimed her settles on a new one)

I am considering keeping 2 boys at this point (Nameless and Easter, I think so far), and I don't know how many girls. I might thin out my SS and BO that I was keeping to mix in and keep more Alohas since they are looking pretty promising.
Regardless, I think I will be re-homing trios that I like but could live without. I want to give the runners-up roos a chance, and the best one they have is to go with sets of pullets that will make lovely spotted chicks. Chicken swap be warned! I AM overrun with chickens.

I finally took mug shots of everyone!
I discovered that my chickens are not a fan of picture day. Or being stuffed into a box to be put on our kitchen scale! They really hated the whole process, so it was hard to find pics where you can see their colors and the chickens don't look stressed. They move so fast and they were panting and unhappy... I am not doing this again for a LONG while. I will probbly do it for my chicks, but I am seriously thinking of putting them in a large terrarium so they can't dive off the table.
So here, at last, are the pics and weights of 24 of the chicks I got from alohachickens- number 25 was killed by a... something... likely a rat, while still young enough I don't know what gender it was. It was red with some black spots. But here's the rest; good, bad, and indifferent. Boys are listed first (13 of them!) then (only 11) girls. The number cards were so I could organize pics easily and keep the weights in a neat list. Peach's pic is an old one cuz the butt-head jumped off the scale and hid in the coop so we couldn't take any new pics of him.

OK - pretty chicken law number one . . . you've got to keep them ALL!!!
There is NO twelve step program either so just suck it up and go get more chicken feed . . . NOW!!

LOL! I am guilty of that!!! Tam'ra got her hands on some GORGEOUS babies. I personally would just separate the ones to be used in the project and the others. They definately arent the average chicken. I looked at the links she provided, and I think she got some of the prettiest of this breed.

If I lived near you I would take some of those hens off your hands!!

LOL thanks everyone

Of course I think they're all beautiful (though I have my favorites!) But I simply can't keep everybody. Not if I ever wnt to breed them and get more! (and I am prepared to ship eggs/chicks when I do to anyone interested!) I will find homes for those I can... but I just can't rehome so many roos. I will be saving their feathers though... they will make lovely masks and things. So in a way their beauty will live on... But man... the choices. And in another month or two I will have to do the same with the buff orps and speckled sussex I am breeding in. I have a total of 14 of them, straight run, and I will only keep the best.
I am 40 chickens over my legal limit right now... don't tell anyone!
