Who eats Breakfast first Your Chickens or You ?.

I do, that way I can linger in the barn longer before I go off to work! They usually have leftovers anyways so don't seem to mind, they would rather be let out to play though, I have to hear about that.

I get my breakfast and coffee first. Otherwise how would they get the leftovers?
This week, I'm having my first eggs from my chickens. I did wait till I had a dozen though.

First thing I do is I start my coffee then go feed the chickens while it brews unless someone detours me. I always feed the girls before I eat, though. They have a steady supply of organic grower in a creep feeder, but when they see me in the morning with their big red feed pans they know I'm coming with their dishes of fermented feed, and they start up a cacophony and that racket doesn't stop till they have their beaks full of that ff. Sets my heart a flutter, lol!
