My coop was my Mother's Day present!

I also asked my DH Saturday if I could get a bator and he said, "YES"! I'm thinking about ordering it today!!!

My husband is moving our chicken coop to it's final resting home and starting on the run today! This makes me happier then anything he could have bought, my 6 week old chicks need more outside time and with all my kids I don't have the time to stay out there with them, so I will be so happy when he finishes the run. I think when it's all done I am going to paint it easter colors! I don't know for sure but I think that would be cute.

I got more hatching eggs last week. I also got a new patio set and BBQ. Now I can sit out on my deck, eat dinner and watch my chickens. Did that on Saturday and it was heaven. (Got my gifts a day early because of weather )

I just wondered cuz I got the what looks like the same dog Halloween outfit on clearance after last year's Halloween.... Hubby said why would you want to dress the dog as a chicken? (my toy sized dog)..... Duh, it's cute

I also cleaned out the coops on my mothers day.!! My daughter gave me a huge beautiful hanging flowering petunia plant for my front porch, there is some other little white trailing flower in it but I do not know what it is. And she bought grinders and pizza for supper. We both worked all day, her at her job and me here on the farm. Weather was beautiful, today is going to rain.

I finally got my coop painted for Mothers Day. I could not have asked for a better present.

I did really well, a MP3 player, muffin tin, artifical flowers, and then we went to Fleet Farm and picked up a bator!

I got this for turkey, pheasant and peafowl chicks to be started in, as well as bunnies in the top and bottom sets yesterday for mothers' day. Each 'section' is 18" x 18".
