your buttons eggs are white!?!?!:eek:I didn't know that existed!:celebrate

that's too bad :( how many eggs are there? I wonder if maybe she just couldn't cover them all? Maybe you can save up for one of those mini dome incubators?
maybe:idunno

My button chicks are growing like weeds. Won't be too long before I can put them in their habitats. They were 3 weeks old Tuesday. IN the last picture. the quail in the back looks bigger than the others. I call him Jumbo. Is that just a big button or is it a coturnix?

Button. I made a post for you a few posts up showing a picture of the difference in size of the eggs :) He has a white button quail bib. Coturnix quail males have beige/brown colored bibs if they are Italian/wild coloring.

Thanks I did see the post with the eggs- thanks. None of my eggs were that big. So Jumbo is a button- great.

Had Mountain, Gambel, Texas Blue Scale, and Valley quail, till a neighbors feral cats and raccoons decimated them. Still have Snowflake, Bobwhite, and Mexican Speckeled and Buttons because their indoors (barn).
Trapped the neighbors cats, 6 baby and half grown raccoons.
They got to them through 1/2" HC !!!!! Literally ripped them apart a tiny piece at a time, whatever they could get through the 1/2" opening. So doesn't matter how strong a defense you have it's never strong enough if the pens/cages are outdoors.
