I actually have eggs hatching right now in my Janoel 12, which I use solely as a dedicated hatcher.

I have some Ayam Cemani chicks going into lockdown tomorrow!

I have a Janoel 48 full of Welsummer, Black Copper Maran, and Silkies that are supposed to hatch on New Year's Day!

And some Easter Eggers shortly after that... =)

Can't wait to see some pictures of these!! Hope you get a good hatch. They're a new breed to me, not sure if they are even in Australia.

We go into lockdown in about 10 minutes with 1 dozen silver laced Wyandottes, 1 doz gold laced Wyandottes, and 2 dozen lavender Araucana. Then I go straight back to the hatcher with more of the same.

I've got two more days till lock down. Only six eggs but really looking forward to seeing them hatch. Luckily the last few days my kids have been helping me turn them as I've been pretty busy watching my first grandchild be born and hanging out with her mama, LOL. I was able to really check the eggs today and everyone has grown so much and still kicking away. Yay more babies!

Only two more days! I did a final candle tonight and all three cemanis are still alive, so fingers crossed!

Edit: One is definitely internally pipped! The egg is peeping and rocking around.

I am really looking forward to seeing pics of your chicks. I bet they are going to be beautiful.

My hen laid this gray egg, she is not fertile, but I gave chicks to my neighbor and she gave me their eggs. they are the green eggs. in my home incubator. I hope off spring will lay gray since they are related. I have 7eggs currently since one was cracked. it was one of the green ones.

I tossed in the brown for company.
