I candled mine last night and out of 23 shipped marans eggs only 4 were fertile and developing today is day 19 so we will see how it goes I guess.

I lost one of the cemanis Never externally pipped for some reason. I was thinking I should do a safety hole but I decided to give it until after I got home from shopping and by then it was gone From now on I won't be doubting my gut and I'll just do a safety hole. Not like it can hurt anything anyway. So one is externally pipped and the other is internally pipped with a safety hole. Fingers crossed

Oh sooo cute. I am trying to make a home made hatcher for my eggs (on day 17) . L G is okay but temp alters too much. I can't get the W H T to go off.
Re wired and let it get to 129* before I unpluged. I guessf I will be using L G for lockdown.

I have a pip! Today is day 20. I haven't seen any rocking or heard any chirping, is this normal? I'm hoping not to have a zero percent hatch on my first try :/

I tossed in 5 more eggs in homemade bator we will see what takes. I have BCM, isbar,mystery bantam,gray egg,blue andelusian, from my fridge, my birds, 4 tan bantam eggs, one light blue egg, and 2 olive eggs from a friend.
