who has read "Marley and Me"?

I read the book. It was one of the best I've read in awhile. I cried too, almost didn't finish the book because it just got so sad, but I had to. My kids and I have been waiting for the movie to come out since we heard about it. But I can't watch it. I've talked to a couple of people who cried for the last 30 minutes or so of the movie. I can't put my 7 year old through that. Heck, I can't go through that! I might watch when it comes out on DVD--all by myself so I can cry if I want to.
On a lighter note, we saw Bedtime Stories today, and I laughed till I cried--literally.................

I read, "Marley, A Dog Like No Other", and i was crying in the last chapters.
I have not seen the movie yet, because, if i cried at a book, i don't think i'd do to great at a movie of it. If you like the book of marley, read "Dewey".

I went and saw "Marley and Me" a week ago or so. I think they did a really good job with it, pure entertainment. But at the end, the whole theater was crying. I was going to take my friend and her kids to see it, but am so glad I saw it first. They are all just way too sensitive for that movie.

I read the book a while back, and of course, thought the book was better. There is so much in the way of people's thoughts that they can't portray in a movie.

Someone mentioned "Dewey" as a good book to read. I read that too, just recently. It was okay. In Marley, everything they mention had something to with the dog. But in Dewey, a lot of things happen that didn't have anything to do with the cat, and it just seemed like a lot of drama. Probably not a movie I would go see if it came to that.

Just my two cents.
