Who has seen/will see the movie Hancock?

* We saw it this past Saturday at an afternoon matinee. I was very disappointed given the number of kids there. The little girl sitting next to DH must have been all of 6 and the boy next to me I would guess was 9. It was almost too violent and the *repeated* use of the word "A-H" was a very poor decision, IMO.

Particularly when they had kids saying it several times in the film.

Yeah, a-hole was said a lot. It was actually what sets Hancock off and makes him act like an idiot. Maybe all the wonderful parents on here can use the movie as a lesson in why not to use the word to people, it makes them feel bad and unwanted.

NOTE, the following may be a spoiler, so don't read if you haven't seen the movie.

Overall the movie was OK, more background would have been cool, but thats the mythology freak in me. I'm still trying to figure out which mythological figure Hancock is supposed to be with the eagle attraction.

I went to see it and really enjoyed it. I'd take my 12-year old daughter to see it. I wasn't sure, so I went without her. But it had much more good than bad, and I know she's heard worse language on the school bus.

I'snt that awful that words like that are becoming everday word for younger kids. I too am teenager, but I do not even think about using words like that.

We've had a lot of talks in our house about words and the time and place to use them.
Gotta say, I was using all manner or foul language when I was the same age as my daughter. I outgrew it. I think it's a natural part of growing up. I haven't heard my kids cuss much, and never in an inappropriate place. So they are allowed to see this type of movie.
