Who has the best __________?

I do! We spent a lot of work building them their own special pen and they get fresh garden lettuce every day. D'anvers are so cute! They look like little ameracaunas

Haha,if my mom said Yes,I would be showing them. But,I'm already breeding turkens,Ameracaunas and sumatras...

I was lucky enough to pick up some Blue Laced Red Wyandottes from Foley's Waterfowl in KY.

They have a great reputation, and I'll vouch for Jerry being a very nice guy, and selling me to GORGEOUS pullets. They've just started laying, and are doing so quite reliably.

I haven't seen their other birds, but the photos of their Silver Laced Wyandottes are stunning. I hope to pick up one sometime this summer when I'm visiting my family in KY. Great people to deal with and great birds.

Today, the cockerel bred one of the pullets correctly,he's still so young!!

I'm afraid the ee we have in with him will follow in his footsteps. Poor pullets. I'll make sure he doesn't..hopefully

Oh yeah, here's some pics of them.

Thanks, I'm working on 20 more right now, got to make longtail and d'anver room, breeding season is already starting!
Yall should stop by sometime and see all of them if you're ever headed up this way, we'd love to show you around.

featherhill farm for anything he sells. He's devoted to stock that meets APA standard. Perhaps if he's busy enough with orders, I won't have to compete against him int he spring shows

AmyJo Piehl for silkies
both sell chicks, started, and adult birds but not eggs.

Sheryl butler for cochins, Calesta Rieth for silkies, etc.

-- sorry if it seems like I am pushing featherhill farms... but I think of all of the people selling hicks of multiple breeds his quality, in each breed, is more consistent than any other hatchery source..... even Urch. His prices are affordable enough for 4-h kids to place an order with the reasonable assurance that they will have something worth taking to a show.

I am not 100% sure (I will have to check with my source), but I think the BCM pullet I recently got from another BYCer was hatched from one of Wynette's birds' eggs. She's sooo pretty and has feathered legs. She's 15 weeks old so I am not sure yet what color eggs she'll lay, but she's got a really good personality and is healthy and bright.

No need to apologize! I was looking to start a list of people we trust and enjoy dealing with. I have dealt with some folks who I sort of recommend, and others that I can't say enough great things about.
