Well, I'm terrified of high places, closed in places, bridges or overpasses that are very high or long, etc. I have to work very hard to keep myself from having an all out panic attack when I'm in a tall building or riding on a mountain trail that hangs off the side of a cliff, or driving through a tunnel, etc. I flew once, and spent 2 weeks a nervous wreck because I knew I had to get back on a plane to get home. The trip was uneventful, but even drugged up I was in complete panic mode the entire flight - never again!!! I can't go into caves or anything like that. Crowds set me off, too - good thing I live in a tiny little hick town! I remember when I was young driving over the Bay Bridge (San Francisco) and spending the entire 3 miles on the floor of the car panicking - now I can stay in my seat, but I hang onto my seat and hyperventilate the entire time! I haven't been able to discover any reason for these phobias. Maybe it's from when I was born???? LOL
