Who Here Does Fermentation Feeding?

Also, how long would you say it might take to see the benefits of feeding FF? I've been feeding FF for a little over 2 weeks and have seen no changes in feathers sheen, feather regrowth, poop, or anything. Am I being impatient?

I ferment all my adult hens food, but my chicks eat normal bc they are just so crop issue prone! Also, all my babies are meatbirds exception of silkies lol, meaties we’re ordered from out of state

Um maybe, maybe not we saw changes when we switched around three weeks of FF but it is more of costs going down and them foraging more and being less hungry. They weren’t sitting at feeders all day. One of our hens we got from a friend had been attacked by a dog and over mated so she did get better feathers and things like that.

I am pretty new to FF and am fermenting Scratch & Peck whole grain layer feed. I am finding that the fermented powdery fines in the feed go uneaten, and therefore I feel like I am wasting a lot of feed. Is there something I can do to remedy this, or do I just have picky hens?
Fermenting is supposed to solve the waste problem, not create it. Photos of what your FF looks like when you're serving up to your birds? The fines should be mixed in and sticking to the grains.

IMO there's no benefit other than reduced feed waste and maybe increased palatability. They don't magically grow more feathers or anything.
